Terms of service

These terms apply to every purchase from this website. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Orders and prices

Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. An order is accepted when we send the dispatch confirmation. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable, if the price shown was an obvious error, or if we cannot verify the payment. Promotional prices and comparison prices shown as "was" reflect the price at which the product was offered on this site for a reasonable period before the promotion.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments or the payment method you select. We do not store your card details.

Delivery

Delivery times in our shipping policy are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Please check the parcel on arrival and report damage within 48 hours.

Using the incubator

Ovatek incubators are 220–240 V household appliances. Use them indoors, on a level surface, away from water, and only with the supplied power cord. Keep them out of reach of children. Follow the 21-Day Hatch Guide supplied with the unit. Hatch rates depend on egg fertility, egg handling and room conditions, which we cannot control; we provide Hatch Support to help you get the best result but we do not guarantee a hatch.

Warranty

Each incubator carries a 2-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Details are in our returns policy.

Hatch Support

Hatch Support is a free guidance service provided by email and messaging for 21 days from the date you tell us you set your eggs. We aim to reply the same business day, Australian time. Advice is general and based on the information you send us.

Intellectual property

The Ovatek name, logo, photographs, the 21-Day Hatch Guide and the content of this site belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without written permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing or repairing the product or refunding its price. We are not liable for indirect loss such as the cost of eggs that did not hatch. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [State], Australia, and you submit to the courts of that State.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this site when you place your order. Last updated: September 2026.
