Hatch-to-coop gear
What you need after the eggs go in.
An incubator takes the eggs to day 21. These are the few things you reach for along the way, in the order you need them.
Day 7
During the hatch
A week in, you can see which eggs are growing. Candle again on day 14 and day 18.
Day 21
After the hatch
Chicks cannot keep themselves warm for their first weeks. They need a warm spot, feed and water.
Week 6 on
In the coop
Once they are feathered they move out. Someone has to open the coop in the morning and shut it at night.
